Our Life on Pacific Islands
Thanks Panda! That's laugh out loudfunny! (I LOL'd man!-Tee hee!)
That is quite humorous. Except for the voluntary part, that very thing seems to be happening.
Voluntary? Who? The U.S. public, or the government?
I'm so glad I gave up my limousine-riding, Napoleon brandy-drinking, Aruba-vacationing lifestyle just before this little global crisis happened ;)
I've been waiting to see that for a couple of days now (no YouTubing at work & my home internet connection was down). But it was worth the wait. My gosh. I think I'll sell my aparment, send them the money & start sleeping in my boat in the storage container at the club. The diminution of lifestyle I'd suffer would be so much less than what the poor Waynes of the world have lost (sniff).
Hypatia - 'welcome. I hope you can spare a few grand to help ol' Wayne.Don - astonishing, isn't it?Moody - I think Don means that such folk are actually being bailed out, but not with voluntary donations.Martin - A new twist on an old adage: "the smaller we are, the softer we land"! ;^)Bonnie - while you're out paddling the Hudson, watch for falling airliners. :)
