It is especially good to see the student smiling. Hopefully, he keeps going with his training.
Don - Me too. I'm sure he will. As I recall, a commercial license, the flight test for which they were preparing, requires the pilot to have logged a minimum of 250 hours as pilot in command. So he's got a lot of time, money, and training already invested and experience as a private pilot.
actually as we are a part 141 school, Charles got his commercial license at about 220 hours, still lots of money. He is in the academy as we speak working on his instructor ratings. Charles is 19, and we are friends for life! while we were in the ER another instructor that works for me showed up and we got in trouble for being loud... we were quite giddy having just walked away from our adventure! I am back in the air, feeling well and humbled at how many people have voiced their concern. I do love my life. Lewis
