St. Patrick's Day

Happy St. Patrick's Day from Japan! Here are K and me sitting on the bench this morning with K's new ume tree (Japanese plum). The blossoms smell nice.

Pandabonium told me that if I could catch a leprechaun, I would be rewarded with a pot of gold, but they are very clever and hard to catch. I could probably buy a lot of doggy treats with a pot of gold, but I haven't had any luck yet. In fact, I haven't even seen one. Maybe there aren't any in Japan. If you see any leprechauns around, let me know.

Momo, what a great post! I sure hope you do find your pot of gold!...you'll be the most pampered pooch of all time if you do!

We had a great St. Pat's ourselves, did the whole corned beef & cabbage ending with the Shamrock Jello dessert. Then I ran over to Swinebread's and shared the leftovers with them.

Now Beaniac wants some (she went to the ZOO w/friends instead of hanging out w/the old folks)...so we'll be having some more before the week is out!

Ladybug - yeah, I could buy a flat screen TV for my rec room in the basement of my dog house. ;*P

I've had corn - in my veggie dog food - and I've had beef - in my meaty dog food - but I've never had "corned beef". Not sure about cabbage. Glad you guys enjoyed it and had fun.

Something tells me it's all happening at the zoo...

Happy st. Patrick's Day Momo.

I am curious K. or P. didn't buy you shamrock to wear. May be it could give you lucky to catch a leprechaun. :-p

hey momo! I saw a couple of rainbows today, but no leprechans(sp?) :( sorry!

Well, "Yoda" needs to go trim his ear hair if you ask me. He's got as much as I do!

PinkPanther - actually, Pandabonium picked a big clover on my walk and put it in my hair, but it didn't stay long. :=p

K & S - I hear Hawaii has lots of rainbows, but "Menehunes" rather than leprechauns. Yeah? Thanks for looking anyway.

That's such a pretty ume plant K has. And you dear Momo looks so pretty too. This picture would look great in a picture frame.

I remembered to wear green...on the 15th. Then I completely forgot on the 17th.

I don't have any Guinness, either.

Bloody disgraceful...

At least I still have all those Enya and Altan albums.

Happysurfer - thank you so much!

Moody - be careful. the end of your shillelagh may shrivel up and fall off!

Do you mean the staff/club, or the missile?

Momo the Wonder Dog said...

Never heard of the missile before. You know which "staff" I'm woofin' about. :*p

yes, what a wonderful day,

I was in Japan last week too and had a beautiful fortune of revisiting my love for the sakura.

Yes, the early blooms always bring a wonderful scent in the air.
