Our Life on Pacific Islands
Are these reeds? Nature's own work of art. Beautiful. I love the photo. Nature is perfect in its own way and there is so much beauty in the simplest of things. Thanks for sharing that part of the Lake, Pandabonium. More, please?
Happy - thank you. I don't what kind of plant it is, a kind of grass I think. It is quite tall. The ducks are "coots" and appear deceptively small. Nature is beauty - perfect in its way as you say. I will post more.
When I clicked on the photo (twice) it filled my screen and I saw the ducks. Lovely.I could almost hear the water too... If only I had my old canoe!
Martin - thanks. If I'm here much longer, I must get a sailboat, kayak or canoe and get out on that water.
Beautiful photo.Get a kayak. Loads & loads of fun.
Hill - thanks. and you're right about kayaking. I did lots of kayaking (almost every week) on Maui. If I had known I'd be here this long I'd have one here - or maybe a canoe or sailboat, as the water is pretty cold. Definitely will have one in Fiji!
I was thinking of my old kayak, actually, not a canoe. I always get them mixed up. It was covered with cloth, not plastic. Well, it still is, if only it hasn't been eaten by mice!It holds two people, which is very nice (and romantic)...
Martin - Thanks. It is peaceful down by the lake. Kayak-eating mice? Oh, my. Was a collapsible one that you could fold up? That might be handy.
