Rainy Days

It is still "tsuyu" or rainy season in Japan. The weather is warm and rainy. Tsuyu or "baiyu" as it is called, literally means "plum rains". At this time the plums are ripening and the rains often make them fall from the trees. The Japanese make a lovely plum wine with them.

Snuggling is nice.

So, if you don't have to go to work, what do you like to do on a rainy day?

Either snuggle up in bed or on the sofa and read or if there are no thunderstorms; go out for a paddle! Nice ... ;)

Pull my shirt up over my head and run around the house kicking anything I see and shrieking like a frightened banshee.

No, not really. Actually, I post strange comments on other people's blogs.

FH2O - reading is a good choice. Paddling too.

MM - for some reason I believed your initial answer...

Personally, I spent the day cleaning mold off my book shelves, leather jacket, gig bag, etc. etc. - seems a never ending battle here.

ndoddqc - some obscure office in the bowels of the Pentagon.

Good question, PandaB. Most of people around here do some blogging, :-p
ME? Meditation in home.

I also love to snuggle with my bf especially when the weather is a bit cold

PP - that's a good idea.

Charles - I thought the "Queer Chef" would be in the kitchen, but snuggling is good. Must be a cold a lot in Norway.

Hello, just dropping by... have been seeing you around for quite awhile :)

I love rainy days... (as long as no flood or I have to go outside the house), I would look at the rain drops through the window or enjoy the breeze blowing towards me. It gives me a nice and romantic feeling.

Hi Selba - Yeah, I see your comments often too. Thanks for dropping by. I like the rain sometimes too, but here in Japan it has been going on and on this season. I'm ready for some sunshine.

Lrong - excellent. Any blossoms in that pond yet?

Enjoy the indoors with a good book or magazine, hot coffee and cookies.

I like the smell of vegetation from the first raindrops. Very refreshing. Mmmmmm........

Btw, nice picture of the snuggling buddies.

Thanks Happy. Yeah, the rain washes everything and one can smell the plants. Glad you like the puppy pic.
